RVW The Early Years
Programme includes Early Songs with tenor James Gilchrist, Piano Quintet and Rhosymedre.

Saturday 25th August   12 Noon
RVW Contemporaries and Disciples
Programme includes music by Herbert Howells, Rebecca Clarke and a world premiere Sonata by the composer David Bednall ( RVW in memoriam)

Saturday 25th August 3pm
Lecture and Cream Tea.
Richard Morrison (lead music critic The Times) traces the history of Down Ampney including its significance as the birthplace of RVW and the role it played as an RAF base during the Second World War.
This performance is interspersed with RVW songs and is followed by a cream tea in the marquee.

Saturday 25th August  7pm
Gala violin and piano recital.
Features Jack Liebeck Violin and Paul Turner Piano.
Music to include The Lark Ascending and Ravel Sonata

Special guest is a living veteran from RAF Down Ampney
